Gugulethu Sofia Mbatha recognized by her stage and screen name Gugu Mbatha Raw. Gugu became famous for her role in the BBC television series of science fiction called Doctor Who. Handler started doing stand-up comedy full-time after she reached the age of 21. Handler had realized that she is gifted at storytelling. Beginning Of career Handler started out her career as a member of the Oxygen network all-female cast for the hidden camera/comedy reality TV series Girls Behaving Badly. The series ran between 2002 and 2005. The handler began to appear on various other programs, including Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler is also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. Handler had her biggest break in 2006, when she took over hosting of E! This show was named The Chelsea Handler. The Chelsea Handler Show lasted two years. Handler was a performer at the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour at the American embassy in the following year. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have aired Handler's stand-up shows. In 2010 it was revealed that she was going to host for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
